Challenger Teamwear Logo Update

Challenger Teamwear is one of North America's fastest growing sports apparel companies. Established in 2001, and sister company to Challenger Sports, Teamwear provides uniforms and equipment to thousands of U.S. youth and competitive soccer clubs.
With the original icon nearing a seventeen year life span, an update was needed to bring new life into the brand and resolve a few problematic areas. Using past experience as a silkscreen printer and working with the internal print shop for testing, the icon underwent a development phase that would ensure consistency when printed or embroidered, and applied to Teamwear's line of products. The icon was placed in a 2:1 ratio which now aligns a bit more closely to their competitors and then was reworked to include bolder lines and a deeper negative space. A series of logo lockups and a style guide was prepared to ensure logo usage accuracy.
